Hi gang;
Walking around the coastal path the other day, and saw these 2 Common Grey Seals in the water - you can just see their heads in the water above the big rock on the water's edge. Its breeding time now.They have their pups on deserted rocky beaches away from any human beings.

Hi Gang;
When I took this photo on 14th Sept it was about 65F, cold driving rain.
Saturday 17th 80F, walked on local sandy beach and into the sea about 3 inches - felt like a large lump of stel had been dropped onto my feet !!!
The sea here is KING COLD !!!

Interesting... I always thought of seals being in colder water.. Just out of curiousity, how cold is that water?
