when our Allis B is warm after 20 min. it will shut off and doesn"t restart.
I don"t think that fuel is the problem the plugs were at .o35 I reduced them to .025 with no result the plugs are Champion.when the engine is cold she fires right up.What do you think that it might be.

mine did the same thing,someone told me to shut off the gas and let it run to empty.then try to start it.I did it and it works!don't know why.

Sounds like your secondary electrical to me. Old is right, need more info, but I would bet that it is either your coil getting too hot, or your condensor. Either of these will can act just like that. When she quits, grab hold of the coil. It should be warm, but if you can"t keep your hand on it, that would be my first place to look. Also check the polarity on the coil. Mike

Is it a mag type igniton or a distubutor type?? When it stops running do you have a good spark or have you checked to see?? Need more info to be able to help much but if you answer my questions I can probably help

Well it has a mag. replaced the coil with a new one and had the tractor iddle for 40 min. then drove it for 20 shut if off and it wouldn't start.The mag was warm but not hot. after 1 hour it started with no problem.

Sounds like you got a bad new coil, seen that happen more then once
