I can get a supply of day old bread and pastries. How can I pelletize this or prepare it for storage? I need to be able to store it without refrigeration to insure That I can absorb it when they have large quantities and don't create a fly or rodent problem.

Air dry it then store it in 55 gallon drums with lids that close tight. Once it is dry, you can crush it up to fit better. Goats and chickens (especially chickens) do good on it as PART of thier food.

Feed for cattle? I have had bread fed beef on 2 occasions. 1st time I THOUGHT it was awful. @nd time though, I KNEW it was awful. @ full steers minus a steak and a pound or two of burger went to the food shelf.
