ford 5000 year?

the 5000 i am looking at has headlights in the grill , and the serial number under the hood starts with a b....is this british made? the serial number other than the b at the beginning comes back to a 1970 model...the paint is faded,straight sheet metal, no leaks, tires all 40%,4 post canopy,all lights work.how much is a good price?

Get the unit number and check out the Ford site. They will be able to tell you when it was built. The unit number will tell you the year, month, day and shift that it was built. The unit number will be under the hood by the serial number.

My dad bought one in 1970 for $5000 even money. It was our #1 tractor for years. Completly wore it out, wouldn't start without ether even in the summertime. Sold it a couple years ago for $5000. I don't think it owed us a dime.
