What do i look for besides blowing smoke?
It has hydraulics front and rear, with PTO and 60" deck. So far without seeing it, it sounds like a keeper. I drove one years ago as a kid on a farm.(cub high boy).

I have a strange feeling this is going to be habit forming. I like the farmall cub and the farm all super A too. i just can't have one of anything.

I have one more question were can i learn about what other attactments are available for the farmall cub lowboy that has the front and rear hydraulics and the PTO w/ 3pt hitch. It has the 5" belly mower already. Can a front loader and small backhoe attactment be added on it too.

Sorry I don"t know too much about tractors.

The 5' mower alone will ask quite a bit of your Cub. Remember that these things only boast 9-12 HP. You can certainly do a loader or backhoe, but you can't do both, and you certainly can't do either with a mower on at the same time. Too much weight for the nimble Cub.

Here's what I would look for when buying a Cub:

1. Leaks of any sort. The seller may wipe down the tractor before you arrive, so make sure you check and double check for any drips (especially after running it for a while).

2. Compression. Take a compression tester with you. This is the best way to gauge the engine's overall health.

3. Make sure all the gears work.
