That sounds like a trick I played on a friend a few years back on a TV set.But I had to switch the wires on the deflection yoke to do that. Little did he know I was a TV technician at the time LOL..... ...

My smart a$$ nerd son did that to me one evening while I was at work. Next morning when he checked his e-mail, he found the monitor upside down sitting on a couple bricks. You'd think after 18 years he'd be used to balin' wire solutions.

I'm not sure what monitor you have, but my KDS ( walmart ) has a 'rotation' feature on the menu.

You didn't mention what type of computer, or monitor ( flat? analog? lcd? etc.. ) or OS you had.. so that's about all the help I can give.

Same thing happen to me couple of months ago.

Hold down the control or cntrol + alt button and use one of the arrow keys to go around.

I know its the arrow button but not sure on the others.

Can't hurt it worst than it is.
