Since parts are no longer available for Model "NS" Ensign regulators, is there another brand available that is compatable with the Ensign system? The Ensign system uses a "balance tube" and the idle circuit is in the regulator. Thanks for any help. doorman

I was going to say maybe try the Impco also as they are readily available new. For Ensign parts and kits did you check with Herman in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma ? 580-846-5833

I tried a source in Ok. I believe it was called Everhart Supply. All the man there would tell me was that I didn't need a regulator that big, but he would never say whether he had parts for my "NS" Ensign regulator. Thanks for the reply, doorman

Ok, I'm not familar with the NS model regulator. We have ran Impco brand carburetors and regulators for years on irrigation engines on natural gas or propane and they have always been good on service unlike the Ensign when Bosch split up and sold things out. Impco has also bought several other LP companies out over the years. http://www.impco.ws/ Ensign parts are getting hard to find and we don't even mess with that brand now. You might ask this place too and we get our LP stuff from them or local dealers here.

I don't know. We put an Impco on my Farmall H that uses an Ensign carb. I'm sure my 560 is running an Impco converter too.
