i had a 331 and it didnt have one on it but i guess it is another stupid saftey thing. how do you like the 322 isnt it pretty small i had the 331 to dig trenches and ponds on the property then it got to small so i got a komatsu it had and alarm but after using it alot it had a lot of slap in the boom. guess another stupid mistake of getting rid of something that is the best you ever had. never will have one as good again jlmtractor

Agreed you shouldn't disable it. Maybe you could do what I do with most of my kids noisy toys - put a piece of tape over the speaker. At least make it a little quieter.

A finicky State or OSHA inspector can fine you or your company up to $10,000 for disconnecting the travel alarm.

The person you DON'T run over will appreciate it much more. My neighbor was killed that way. Do NOT worry about minor things. Its on there for a MAJOR reason.
