Besides tractors, what do ya"ll like to collect? I have a very small collection of farm toys, toy semis, and airplanes. Someday, I"d like to have a diesel powered truck from each manufacturer, nicely restored/ rebiult. Old Dodge with the 12 valve Cummins, Ford with the 6.9L Navistar, and a Chevy with the 6.2L Detroit diesel. I"m sure there are some on here that collect old Harleys, or fancy China, or whatever. Collecting dust doesn"t count.

Antique Briggs and Stratton single-cyl. engines. One from 1928, '33, and the rest are late 40's-early '50's. Last count I had somewhere around 9 or 10. Oh and two Eclipse Rocket mowers with Briggs. Strange hobby for an 18 yr. old, but it's better than drugs or a skateboard. ; )

Started a small shotglass collection, too.

I do alot of bass and panfish fishing, so I suppose I collect arificial lures and equipment.

I collect Budweiser Clydesdale items. My stein collection alone is valued at around $3000. Also have 14 guns ranging from modern to model 92 Winchester 25-20 (the gun I killed my first deer with). Most of the guns are family heirlooms, so value on them is strictly sentimental.

I like old liscense plates. They use to stamp new ones every year back in the day. I have alot from the 30's and 40's. They can be worth some money if you have a matching pair. Also the plates from 1976 are good ones. Alot of the states had a special plate to commerate the bicentinal year that year.

What? you are actually collecting those? Are they worth very much as a "collectible"? I always got rid of one before looking for another. Or they got rid of me, not real sure which way it worked.

Same as a post below, been collecting things since I was a kid, saved a lot of farm items like saws, lanterns, tools, blowtorches, beamscales, lamps than branched out into gas stn. items, oiltins, gramaphones, radios, metal coke signs, old coins, oak furniture, glass, diecast and full size tractors and a half dozen licensed and insured old cars and trucks. Do it just for fun but has become somewhat of a lifestyle. Dan in Alberta

Just read in the local "wheels" section of the paper that somewhere in the states recently or maybe last year (would it be the BJ auction) that a '70 Barracuda convertible went for over 2 million, did you hear that? Maybe it was yours.

Antique cameras, 200+, been collecting since I was a kid. Haven't added any recently, though. Used to be able to get them at places like Goodwill for a pittance, unfortunately Goodwill & Salvation Army stores seem to have discovered that antiques are actually worth something.

Wife has a house full of antique furniture. I have several old console radios, a couple old cars (future projects) a 1956 Willys PU, & tractors, have a line on a bunch of antique farm equipment so may be adding to the collection.

Chief: back around 1946, i bought an Indian Hiway patrol motorcycle for $200. It had the springer front fork, non skirted fenders, and a big Indian decal on the side! That may have been hand painted, don"t know if they had decals then! It also had the extra "stop-needle" in the speedometer, which told the cop how fast you had been going when he got you stopped! I can relate to the guy who had trouble kick starting it! I weighed about 125 lbs and had to really "dance" on it to get it to turn over! A guy who had bought a new Harley Hydra-glide challenged me to a race. My 250 lb. buddy rode the bike, and beat that guy hands down! It was really fast! Finally sold it when i got married! Got $100 for it! Wish i had kept it!

Stan, ever seen or heard of Walnecks Cycle Trader. I know he's got online and can do a Google on Walnecks. I've been there before (online), and didn't care all that much for it, but his cycle trader magazine... you can piece together...WL's, WD's, JD's, Indian (the real ones, not those a couple/few years ago), British, even Japan. That guy Walneck (Buzz) though, a strange charactor (met him). Great magazine for hard to find parts. A friend of mine got a new set of jugs for his 45" WLD that were still wrapped in the original paper in the original boxes (194?).

Did a phone repair a couple of years ago at the then new Harley dealer in Crete, IL, and was greeted at the door by a Knuckle and couple of Pans, but there in the middle of the showroom floor was (might still be) a burgandy and tan Chief that looked as though it just came off of the assembly line. Beautifully mint. So I asked one of the guys what's the deal on it. The guy told me an old timer brought it in because the knee couldn't hardly take the kicker anymore and used it on a down payment on a Road King. A "down payment" on a Road King?!?!? That'd be the day (he got taken badly if you ask me). Anyway, he did say that the guy'd come in every couple of weeks and pretty much kick himself mentally for that. I'll bet he did, or maybe still does. First and only two-tone I'd seen. Burgandy and tan. Beautiful scooter. Pristine.

Just for the heck of it, I did a Google and found it. Certainly has improved since I last saw it.

Did a search on Indian and brought up everything (mostly the new not real ones), but the old timers were in the back. Don't bring your checkbook, bring the whole bank. Holy cow.

Ditto on the guns. 20 rifles, 8 shotguns, 6 revolvers and 4 pistols. This Christmas added an adult air rifle. Have not sold my first gun since I started gathering at age 12.

Tractors - This is a bug that has bitten me also but here in FL old iron is rather scarce so I do what I can.
