Late in posting but here is a picture (if it works) of the wife's dump truck. It runs now and the dumper lifts. It doesn't have any rakes yet though.

I have a truck that has a cab that looks just like that out in my junk yard area. It was a dump truck but we pulled the bed off years ago. If you need any body parts just let me know. It may end up going to the scrap place if/when prices go back up and I get to where I need some $$.

Yep I'm in Missouri. The truck I have is an old fard super duty tandem. It has some thing like a 534 CI engine in it with a twin stick tranny set up. Most of the body parts are good.

Yes I could make MEGA
bucks with that thing.

One guy I saw at a truck stop we deliver to ask me if I knew anyone with one of those 16 to 20 ft dump trailers you pull behind a pickup.
Said he was a roofer and needed someone to haul off old shingles. Guy he has now is charging $1000 a load. He pays it cause that’s all he can find but is looking for someone at $750 a load which is what he budgeted the jobs at.

I thought by now you'd be up north. Got a lot of friends going to do clean up. Wish I could go.

Wow! We recently picked up an 1968 F600 dumper truck that looks very similar. Different style of dump bed but the cab looks the same. Great little truck, droe it from Dallas Texas to Little Rock Arkansas with 14 sports car engines in the back. Made the trip getting about 10 mpg. Not bad.

Good luck with the truck!

Your Wife should have been at the auction just a couple of miles down the road from me yesterday. Estate sale of trucks and trailers, etc. One of the dump trucks had the following statement on the endgate: "Happiness is a good dump everyday!"

PS: Nice looking truck...your Wife did good.
PPS: NO...I didn't get the F450 6.0 Diesel, 4x4 w/ 32' flatbed trailer. Darn it!

Hey Rauville. You shoulda been at the Howard Co. auction a couple weeks ago. Torrential downpour kept the going prices criminally low. Saw a F-350 tow truck running go for $950. Troy built Horse tillers, the big ones that needed a motor but otherwise sound, $25. A Gravely model L with attachments went for $125, my bid was $100. I would have bought lots of stuff but I was in to the wife for a new 10k GVW trailer so I didn't push my luck.
