Talking with a friend today, he purchased his fathers 51 A, bought new then sold and since repurchased for restoration. He is making progess but has reached a point that help is needed. The tractor was coverted to propane in the past and he wants to take it back to gas. What does he need to do?

Thanks in Advance,

Dug

I just rebuilt a 1949 A. It"s not too difficult to do once you get all the parts. Get a parts catalog and use it to determine which parts are and are not original. Toss the propane junk.
I don"t know how in depth the propane conversions went, as far as pistons, head, etc. He will probably at least need the carb and mainfold.
