Anyone have an opinion on the D17 Planetary Wheel
design. How does it hold up? Is it expensive to repair?

They didn't have a planetary wheel set up, it was a drop down set up instead of straight axles. D-17's from what I have seen rarely had a problem with those. They are heavy and have to be taken off to replace brakes and work on the rear end, but that is about the only bad thing I can think of. Also, if you have one, make sure you drain and fill them, as they have their own seperate oil in the assembly. Good luck
