Hi all,

I just purchased a Ford 2000 tractor and am trying to find as much information about it as possible. It has a 4 cyl. gas engine and the only number I can find is on the left side. The number has diamond emblems in the front and back. If this is the S/N, then the tractor was made in 1963 according to the S/N page here on this site. I have found spec. sheets for the 3000-4000 and other Ford tractors but not the 2000. Does anyone here know where I can find the spec. sheet for it or any other information. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Frank

Thanks guys for the info. I wanted to make sure that what I am looking at is the tractor S/N so I could order the correct manuals. So it looks like that this number is correct.

I was also wanting to get the weight of the tractor and fluid types. I have to haul it home and the first thing I want to do is change all the fluids and give it a good tune up and check out.

Thanks again,
Frank

Looks like we both have a 1963. The four cyl gas was only made '62-'63' and '64. they are around 31 hp. If yours has power steering it was added as an option. I have used it from everything from plowing snow and making hay, to brush hogging. In the near future it will also have a Sherman backhoe hanging off the back. I have several manuals. What did you want to know?
