Hey y'all
How much will a B series Mack pull and control safely? All things being equal. (Good brakes, strong motor, etc.) I do not know what years they started / stopped production, however, I am referring to a 60s or so vintage. They sure are pretty trucks.

Thanks in advance,
George

Back in the 70's the B series Mack was a popular oil fied truck and I have seen them loaded out at around 128,000# many times and sometimes with a tri axle lowboy and a tandem jeep probably up around 180,000# or more. Of course with that load 45 mph was tops.
