Dr. Bert, the weight you mentioned was used when the Farmall H was tested at Nebraska and is somewhat heavier than the average user of this tractor would use. The tractor was loaded to get it's maximum drawbar pull in low gear and nearly if not totally eliminate the possibility of slipping the rear wheels thereby bringing the engine to a near stall. For general work the tractor at this weight would be sluggish and clumsy feeling, especially on soft ground and result in wasted fuel. An H being used for general farm work pulling the implements for which it was designed is usually weighted to around 4400-4500 lbs.

Everybody in the USA can answer that question and it is meaningless unless you take YOURS to the scales. I often hear people who have one of my tractors telling how much it weighs and have never had a weight even close to what mine weighs.
I know mine is right because I shipped it interstate and it was on the scales. Take it over to the elevator or weighmaster or gravel pit and have them weigh it for you to be sure.

I have a 51 model, no weights, no fluid in tires, with fenders, light bar tool box, and belt pulley on it, 13.6 x 38 rear rubber, and it weighs 4050 lbs, without me on it.
