I need to know from the front bumper to the back face of the rear tire. And will they nest at all?. I am trying to figure out if I need to lengthen my trailer a bit to haul both of them together.( home from MO and OK to AZ)

Much appreciated

The 8N's were about 6N's longer than the 2N's. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

Per the 8N Operator's Manual (and the 2N and 8N have the same dimensions), the tractor is 115", from front to drawbar.
They won't nest. The rear wheels will track the front wheels, so... unless you widen the rear tire spacing of the front tractor and narrow the front tire spacing of the rear tractor, they won't nest at all (and even if you do this, you won't gain much more than a foot, or so).

I've got a 12' trailer that I haul my 8N (with 4' brush hog) on. The hog hangs off by about 18" - 24". The tractor alone has almost 2' of trailer left over, so... if your trailer is >_20', you should be good to go...

Steve, is your 12 footer a single or dual axle? 3500 lbs?

Dual axle. It was a homemade trailer that I bought, so I'm not certain of the GWV, but I'd say that 3500# pretty much covers it.
