I tried to run an ad in MO Classifieds tonight. It hasn't shown up and probably won't. I just want this guy Nathan Lofland to be a man and give me what I payed for. I have given him his last chance. Tomorrow I will start calling in all my legal favors (ain't election years fun! All those politicians I know want to help me out). This thread is just to warn the rest of you of this person. I believe JR is Nathan Lofland of Gravios Mills MO who has not lived up to our financial and parts agreement.

Wanted: parts I purchased from JR MO I have yet to recieve parts and ballance due from Payment made in August.

I won't stand being cheated and toyed with.

I have been told it is low of me to take this subject to you all. I thought it was best to fire one more shot over his bow rather than take what I have directly to the law. I am very lucky to have friends in high places. Nathan has E-mailed me stating he will ship what is due me today. If this indeed happens I will post that he has made good on our transaction. If he wishes to explain himself and his actions I think it would be great that he does it here and clear things up for everyone. He hasn't done that for me. Because it is so easy to hide an identity here and I don't have any thing to hide: My name is William Owen of Grinnell IA I have left the link open to my e-mail address if anyone needs to contact me or wishes to, off site. Thank you Bill

Been through the same thing with the SAME person. Back about 2 years ago he ripped off a LOT of people on this site including me. After I started legal action he sent "parts" not what I paid for just some WORTHLESS junk.. Lawyer advised me to drop it ,when I had not received anything I was better off in court. Now it became my word against his about how good it turned out ( that is the quickest way to say it) and would cost more than it was worth to keep after him.
I have been ripped off a couple times trading on line BUT I have had so many good deals & met so many very nice people it's still a great deal. I've bought several dozen tractors sight unseen and sent a money order till we could get there to pick them up There were only a couple that weren't better than I thought they would be

Since your first post appeared on Yesterdays Tractor website, you have had all the appearances of being an inteligent, level headed, sensable person. That would tend to make me believe you're not a spitefull, hatefull type also. That being said, I'm sure you wouldn'y just post something for the sake of lashing out at an innocent man.

Long story short....I believe you posted this "comment" to prevent anyone else from having "bad dealings" with this guy. You should be commended, and NOT condemned.

There will always be those who degrade every action that isn't their own...Let them have their say, and those of us that understand your intentions can stay away from THEM TOO. John

HE was selling on here before and give about a dozen of us the , I'll get it to you asap . But truth is it took me about 9- 12 months, not sure now how long it took before I got my goods. I think we had him for postal something or other a inspector from postal service was to talk to him. I'm thinking it was way over that magic 1,000 . In PA that can get you jail time. ON a good note I did get my items and they were in fair condition.

I have met them. I'm afraid I don't know them well though. I am a transplant to Grinnell of 12 years now. I spend most of my time at the airport doing my thing so if they don't fly or belong to some government agency I have to answer to, people don't know me and vise versa. I'm not antisocial just that I have a 12/7 job! When I first moved to town I bought a peddal tractor part from them. I remeber tham as being very pleasant. I hope they made it out to our big open house a couple of weeks ago. Next year I want to incorporate a tractor and car show with the fly-in. Wings and wheels! IF I do meet them again I will be sure to say hello. It is a small world John. Bill Owen

Hey! glad you are still pootin! I suppose the sweaters have been tossed asside and the sound of the governor kicking in with the coffee pot is gone. I was happy to hear that regardless of the power drain the coffee pot was not effected. I would shut air travel down in central Iowa if my Java didn't jive!

I have this old farm neighbor/friend who flies me around from point to point when the need arises.

Learned a long time ago, "tis not a good idea to be a takin" on too much of the coffee before crawlin" into that bird.

It"s so darned hard to stop and walk around to that right rear wheel!

The last time this emergency occurred, we made and unscheduled stop at Bowman, ND for no other reason than just to check the footings on one of the hangers. :>)

I have developed what I call pilot bladder. I NEVER miss an opertunity to water the dog. I go before I go to town, go out side, sometimes just when I leave the room. You never know when the next pit stop will be so It is consitantly drained. If there is a known trip I limit myself to one cup of coffee no closer than three hours to wheels up (I will not give up my coffee). There are devices mfg to help with this issue. In the planes I fly it is somewhat like standing on your head under your desk to get business accomplished with out offending the clean up crew (me).

Hey sloroll, seen threads on this galute on here before. Tell you how I got Greg Jackson, Hanover, Kansas, 22 months probation and restitution. Contact the county prosecuter with all the information you can p[ossibly dig up, paperwork, etc. receipts, cancelled checks, money order receipts, copies of emails, dte. Take the time, give em a call, or go down if it isn't too far, and see what happens. My guy is barred from ebay, has probation hanging over him, and like I said, has to pay us back or he goes to the crossbar hotel for awhile and Butch and Killer will be calling him Miss Gregory. Best of luck, Harley
