Some of you may already know this but for those that didn't Mr. Fitts owner and operator of S.A. Fitts Tractor &
Equipment Co. and Cascade Cattle, Land Machinery Co. passed back in August. He helped me many times over the years find parts. I live about 60 miles east of his place. Back in the spring he found a radiator for my 574 IH. I was talking to a friend yesterday and he told me Mr. Fitts had passed. I'll sure miss him. His son is still operating the business though. Anyway I had seen his name on the site before and figured some of you good folks had talked to him about some parts for your projects and knew him.

I found this in a Martinsville news paper online. Sanford A. Fitts Sr.
Sanford Allen Fitts Sr., 74, of 6660 Cascade Road, Cascade, died Thursday,
Aug. 12, 2004, at the Danville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Cascade to Harry J. Fitts Sr. and Virginia Lee Fitts. In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, James Lamar
Fitts and Harry Jones Fitts.
He was an Army veteran and was owner and operator of S.A. Fitts Tractor &
Equipment Co. and Cascade Cattle, Land Machinery Co. He was of the
Presbyterian faith and was a former deacon and elder at Cascade
Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Gary Ann Lamar Fitts of the home; two sons,
Benjamin Watkins Fitts of Cascade and Sanford "Sandy" Allen Fitts Jr. of
Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Lawson Cemetery in
Eden, N.C.
Memorials may be made to the Cascade Community Volunteer Fire Department,
P.O. Box 130, Cascade, Va. 24069 or to the Brosville Community Volunteer
Fire Department, 11912 Martinsville Hwy., Danville, Va. 24541.
Arrangements are by Fair Funeral Home, Eden, N.C.
