Who used VORTOX air cleaners?

I have a smaller-sized VORTOX (manufactured in Claremont, California, model G45E, series 457) oil bath tractor air cleaner here that somehow I thought was off a Case VA but after seeing other VA air cleaners, I know it isn't. I am wondering if anyone out there knows which manufacturer(s) used VORTOX air cleaners?

Below is a description if someone can be more specific and maybe even come up with a tractor model. Sorry I don't have a photo available.

It's a standard configuration about 9" long overall (the body and cup)with a 4.5" diameter, intake stub (3.5") vertically centered on top, connector stub to carb near the top on the side of the body. It has a 2-hole mounting bracket which also has a larger (1,25") hole in it, probably for routing wireswire, maybe plug wires. Inside there is a small, removeable precleaner mesh assembly that attaches up under the lower body of the main filter. The oil cup (which is held in place by two spring-loader boomer snaps) has a splash dish in it with a spring-loaded support which ensures that the precleaner above stays in place). The removeable air stack/weather cap has a supporting bracket that anchors the stack to the tractor (probably to the tractor hood).

Earthmaster tractors also used the Vortex Model G-38F on their tractors which were largely built in California. in the late 40's and early 50's. Gene Davis

I have seen them on most McCormick Deerings and on early Caterpillars too.

Vortox air cleaners still around and are very popular. All the big Peterbilt trucks you see with the big tall stainless air cleaners on each side of the cowl are Vortoxes. At about $800 for each air cleaner, they now sell aircleaner locks to keep them from sprouting legs while parked.
