I was driving by a road construction site today and saw a HUGE (I mean HUGE) Caterpillar tractor and wondered if that is maybe the biggest one made these days? Who makes the biggest one(s). I know Cat and Komatsu make some pretty big stuff. Just how big are those in terms of size and weight and horsepower?

Silver Spade. Biggest thing I've ever seen, but I haven't really been looking in today's tractors.

I believe the biggest tracked tractor to be the one that moves the rockets onto launch site at Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center; weight is more than 3.3 quadzillion lbs.....

The "BIGGEST" dozer made is the Komatsu D575A-3SD,
weighing in at 336,420 lbs., 1150 HP, 555 gal. fuel tank, 52 gal. engine oil, and a 90 cubic yard blade. It's BIG...

I believe the largest tracked Caterpillar is the D11R which is used mainly in quarry type operations. Komatsu has the BIGGEST crawler and it works mainly in strip mine operations.

So far the biggest agricultural tractors with rubber tracks is 500hp made by CNH, and most recently, JD. Steel track heavy construction, mineing, and landfill dozers are huge, and pretty much the sky's the limit on just how big they can be, because if somebodys got the bucks, then somebody will build it. Like someboy has already said, the big stuff isn't very moveable, and is brought in piece by piece and assembled on site, once assembled, they usually spend their entire life on that site, the Caterpillar D11 is transported this way. TLC (on satilite) has shown big custom ordered mining equipment, and it's just mind blowing how big that stuff gets, I wish I could be there in person to see it, because a camera just doesn't even begin to show its true size.

I'm guessing you mean a steel-tracked dozer, rather than a rubber-tracked tractor. I doubt you would have seen one of the biggest outside of a strip mine, landfill or similar very large scale project. They're just too big to haul around much. You can look up most of the specs on the company websites.

For example -
Cat D11R CD: 2,105 cid (34.5 L) diesel engine; 850 net HP; 248,600 lbs. operating weight (more than 124 tons); 425 gal. fuel tank, 63 gal. radiator, 28 gal. crankcase oil capacity, 91 gal. transmission oil capacity, 60 gal. hydraulic tank

John Deere's 9620T is the most powerful agricultural/scraper tractor on rubber tracks, rated at 500 HP. (Last time I checked.)

You are forgeting the Komatsu 575 Dozer. It is somewhere around 1150 HP. Blade capacity is approximatly twice that of the D11R. It's capacity is 90 cubic yards to Cat's 43 cubic yards.
