Can anyone tell me what is involved in fixing a leak on the hyd. piston at the top of the cylinder.I connected down pressure lines yesterday and now both cylinders are leaking. There is a "C" ring-clip around where it is leaking.I suspect seal may have been dried out since this is the first time this line has been connected.Any fixes or is it a profesional job? Thanks for any advice.

Some cylinders on older loaders were not designed for double action. The port on the rod end of the cylinder is a breather, and the end packings are just wipers to keep dirt out,not seals to hold hydraulic pressure.
