What is your experience? can I re-use the other rods? I was thinking I would have them re-sized and magnafluxed. Your opinions appreciated.
Thanks!
Kelvin

I agree with jdemaris. Have them checked for straightness and twist, rebushed (if they have bushings in the small ends) and resized. New rod bolts are cheap insurance, and mandatory if the engine in question is a Deere with torque-turn rod bolts.

Resizing is fine. I tend to check all rods from diesels whenever they're getting rebuilt. If you have one that's really been hammered, have it checked for alignment too.
