When I make posts here at YT I notice some "URL" windows to use. Do these have something to do with posting website links or photos? What is a URL and how does a person use it here?

A URL is a web address.

Simply place the entire link address in the field, including the>Link

Same for photos as for other. The photos must be on the web somewhere, not just saved in your computer. A place like "Photo Island" can be used to place pictures. Best to put them in the "auction" location to ease access and so that they don't fade from the scene.

Hi Alberta Mike. One of the definitions of a URL from one of my many Help for Dummies/Idiots/etc books reads like this: URL Each web site has a unique address, called the Uniform Resource Locator (URL). You can instantly display any Web page if you know its URL. All Web page URLs start with>Link

So all the scribbling up in the Address box is the URL or location of the site you are visiting. You can highlight it and then select copy to bring it to a post here or wherever and select paste so that others can benefit from the information contained there. Hope this is what you were refering to. Regards, Dan
