I have a wedding to go to in the South West Suburbs of Chicago (Burr Ridge) this April. Anyone know of any tractor/farm museums in the area for decent entertainment? Trying to ease the trip a little bit from Wisconsin.

It is probably out of your way but if you have never been to Moline and visited the John Deere Commons I promise it would be well worth the trip! It would help if you liked deeres but it is still worth the time. I wish the wisconsin historical society and case nh would get together and do something that nice.

If all else fails, call me, I'm about 20 miles NW.
But all I have to offer are 10 Olivers!

Museum of Science and Industry has a pretty nice ag section with a large JD combine. The side is cut away and replaced with plexi and they have it operating. If you don't do it for a living, they let you get up in the cab and have a "virtual" drive with it. Not much of a thrill if you spend a month doing it each fall but fairly interesting if you don't.
