I have never posted any pictures with messages in this discussion forum.

The pictures I want to share with you are in my desktop.

Can anyone help this old farm boy out?

there is no way to post pictures directly from your pc to this forum. You must first get them posted on the web and then you can link to them using the url. What a lot of guys do is post the pic in one of the gallerys right here at ytmag and then link to that. once you get the picture posted right click on it and check "properties' It will show you the url and you can cut and paste it in.

NCM is correct for the YT fourm except it is COPY/Pasete not Cut/Paste. Cut/Paste has a whole different function. You might check with your ISP. Thats Internet Service Provider. Most offer Free web space to thier Users. If they do You can upload photos to your web site then Hot Link them to the fourms. That way you can Add bigger photos and multiple ones if you want. I.E. Like this.

No that just means you missing some thing. I assume that you posted the photo to like say. Tractor Photos. Then go to view your photo.
When you see your photo. Put your mouse curser inside the picture, then right click the mouse.
Choose properties. You will see a line that say Addres Url. That shows the URL for your photo.
Looks like this >Link
This>Link is what you copy. To copy it just put the mouse curser in front of the H in>Link
Then go to the message you are posting and right click in the box Optional Image URL. Select past.
This puts it in the box. Your image will now show.

Thanks for the instructions and the examples for posting pictures. I'm not sure how that tractor is blocked up otherwise, but I would want to use two jack stands with a crossbar or some other kind of splitting stand to guarantee that the rear half of the tractor cannot fall or move sideways. I have seen single jackstands tip over. Just saying, be as safe as you can guys!

Third Party Image

These are the stands I made for the front.
These work great!!!

For spliting I used my Cherry picker. This was not a good way to split one. Although adding the threaded rod really helped to keep it all alighned. I will not be using this again to split a tractor. I am going to make some thing that will bolt to both sides of the Differential case and have a caster wheel under it to pull it back.

I used this mothod to put it back together as my rear stands are not made as yet. The Jack I removed the cup at the top and bolted a 4x6 peice of flat steel ( actually a baler plunger knife)
to the jack and screwed the 4x4 post to it. The other wood I nailed to each other. Looks flimsy as all get out. But worked good enough in a pinch. I used threaded rod with nuts to draw it together. This kept every thing from moving from side to side. I kept the jack stand under just in case. And no body parts were any where near under any thing. I need those. :-)

I don't think the tractor was actually touching the jackstand at that point was it? I think he had the two halves bolted back together in that picture.

I'm looking at the second picture you posted.

Could you tell me about that PS pump mounted to the governor please? Is that an add on unit on that tractor?

I can't tell with the tractor all torn down like it is.

Thanks,

Allan

Its a add on I believe. I dont really know any thing about it yet. Other than if it was factory it would run off the trator hydralics.
Also that it turns real good to the left but is a bear to turn right. I am just hopping it just needs some fluid but as you can see from my photos I havent had any easy fixes on this one.
