I am looking to buy a new pair of tire chains for my chore tractor. I was wondering if anyone has bought any from the online firm www.tirechain.com. If they have, has the product been high quality?

I bought a set of tractor tire chains from tirechain.com several years ago. The quality is good; I did have to trim the chains a bit for my tires.

I bought the "Duo-Grip" chains. FYI, my chains DO have latches on both sides of the tire.

I have bought several sets from "tirechains" and some came with a hook and a latch and some have come with two latches. They also sell extra / replacement latches so I have added them where I wanted them. I like the double ring best for my use.
A hint - I got several used light garage door springs that I added hooks to and used for tensioners and they seem to work well.

I ordered a set for my Super M from www.tirechain.com a couple years ago. Quality is good, and the chains fit and work fine.

Dad just bought a set from them this year for our JD 60. They fit just fine and seem to be well made. The only thing I have noticed is that they do not have latches on both sides of the chains. They only have a latch on one side and just a plain hook on the other, we put them on like that and got them put on tight and have not have any issue with the hook side coming undone and we have plowed snow, run down the snow covered highway, and gone into the woods and pulled out trees for firewood in the mud with them. I have to admit I was concerned about the hook thing but it has not been a problem.

That is the way they make chains hook one side latch on the outside of the wheel. Smooth side of the link twist in and closed end out on the cross link chains ends so it does not damage the tire. Mark H.
