I have a chance to buy one of these tractors. How good are they? I really don't need it, but a friend of the familys' needs the money. She is selling it for $2500. Can I get hurt paying this for it? Tractor runs good, with WFE, 3Pt., good tires. Thanks, Mark

Hey Rediron, Go for it.A MF-65 diesel sold for 4950 at a auction here in Central Texas Saturday. You won't get hurt on that tractor you can sell it later if you want to.I buy & sell farm equipment some.If the tractor don't smoke, starts good,& has good tires it will bring 4500-5400.

Really! That's great. I will talk with her tommorrow, and let her know. I'll work it out with her, and probally list it on the "for sale" site.

Take it!
I got my MF-65 continental gas for $1600 and that Perkins diesel is hard to beat. As long as it runs good and everything works relatively fine, I would go with it. The 65 is a great tractor with lots of power and you won't regret it, whether you need it or not.

Hey Chris. Thanks for the feedback. I would really like to help the lady out. Just did not want to get to deep in the tractor.

It's worth more than that.If you really want to help her out why don't you give her a fair price.

This is why I asked the question. She set the price, and I wanted to know if it was fair. If it turns out to be low, I will make it right with her.
