Just read a post of yours, explaining that you grew up in a "small town in southern Indiana? What town would that be? The mention of Louisville Ky would make me believe that you MIGHT have been a neighbor. We had a house "in town" so that I could go to a xertain school that mom and dad wanted me to go to. We lived in Clarksville, from 1963 untill 1972.

I grew up in the bustling metropolis of Corydon, IN...lived in the New Albany/Clarksville/Jeffersonville area from 1978-'81 and '83-'93, then moved back to the home county, bought a house in New Salisbury. My dad graduated high school with recently deceased Indiana governor Frank O'Bannon, and Frank was dad's attorney for years (they were step-cousins; dad's aunt married Frank's grandfather later in his life).

In the late 1980's, I ran a parts wholesale route for a Louisville Chevy dealer that covered Madison, Scottsburg, Austin, Seymour, Brownstown, and Columbus on Fridays...some beautiful countryside up there. And in high school, I briefly dated a girl from the Otisco area, so I'm pretty familiar with the area.

Indydirtfarmer,
I don't what small town Buzzman is from, but I bet my town and county were smaller. I'm from Rising Sun in Ohio county. We had one sheriff's car for the sheriff and his on deputy. Now they have a state police "hub" with the Grand Vic boat there. When I was a kid I worked for the guy that owned the land where their parking lot is. Lots of tobbaco, corn and hay. It was a shock when I came home the first time for a visit. Noe I live in Tipton, and it ain't much bigger.

Been to both Rising Sun, and Tipton. Nice place to call home. I claimed Madison as home, growing up. The farm is actually in Saluda Landing. That's about halfway between Madison, and Hanover, with-in sight of the Mighty Ohio River. I claim Underwood Indiana as home now.
