I have one of those things, it's a model 310. It's a crazy thing from the 60s. It has a Wisconsin VH4 to drive it and a bunch of belts an pullys that keep everything turninng. We replaced about all the bearings and rebuilt the reel and motor.. Works pretty good now. I was kind of thinking of converting it to all hydrostatic and getting rid of all the belts and crud that requiers replacement.

I have one of the 3 in Mass thats fully functional.
Or could it be #4? The hydro idea sounds interesting.

Sounds like you may have the same beast that I do. Does it drive and manuver with two sticks like a dozer? I am told by the guy that supplies parts that there are three still operating in mass. I would love to see a picture.

If you get your parts at Devon Lane Farm Supply then one of the three is mine. I'm on my second one, since 1973. It is a pain to maintain, but I'd never go back to a sicklebar. I put a dual wheel on the driver's side so the other side gets stuck first now. I learned on here about bolt-on sections, which has been a big help, because I don't pull the bar to change them.
