I just bought an CBT tractor with a Mercedes engine. I can't find any information on this tractor, it apears to be around 100 horse power. That is i am just guessing it is around that. I was told it was made in Brazil in the caterpilliar plant. The tractor is yellow but not cat yellow.

We have two CBT 8060 tractors which have a Mercedes engine and 105 engine HP. We also recently bought the remaining inventory of parts from the US distributor. We have transmission parts, fuel tanks and other miscellaneous parts. We are looking for brake parts.
If you have info please respond via email to davefischer@hotmail.com or call 812-326-2831 and ask for Joe.

I have a 1990 CBT 8060 w/cab. It is a pretty good unit, but I need help with the PTO. It doesn't try to engage. I have owner's and service manual. Neither is any help. Ideas?

CBT (Companhia Brasileira de Tratores) is no longer in business. They built tractors that resembled Olivers, but with Perkins engines. Some of the larger ones might have been Mercedes also. They were sold in the US by a company in Colorado in the mid to late 80s. What was left of the company was sold to Agrale.
