I'll be looking at a Case 680C that's for sale. Seller say's the brakes don't work at all and it leaks 2 gallons every 15 minutes from the torque converter seal. That's as detailed as he could get. Can anyone give me some advice on what to look for as far as the brakes and what would be involved in the oil seal job. Thanks in advance.
John

I have a 480 C the brakes on my model are operate by a pair of cylinders under the dash. The parts were not expensive it was the floor having to be pulled out to bleed the breaks that was a real pain

the 680c uses air brakes. a pain most of the time. the 680c is too heavy and too hard to handle for close work and finish grading. the 580c on is a much better hoe and has a better resale.
