Allis-Chalmers 314 garden tractor good mower to buy?

I have been looking at an Allis-Chalmers 314
I mow about 2 acres, the AC with a 46" deck looked like it could do the job.
I was curious about parts availability. I know the company has been bought a few times, but I don't know if parts for that garden tractor are readily available. Any info would be appreciated. Also wondering what year it is.

I just seen my first one at a mower shop in Mckinney, TX this past week. The owner said it ran fine, but he could not get mower deck parts. He was recomending to customer to forget it.

You can get any part you need right from an AGCO-ALLis lawn equipment dealer or from a Simplicity dealer since Simplicity makes AGCO-Allis lawn mowers. From 1965 to 1983, Simplicity was owned by Allis-Chalmers. Check out the dealer locater at either www.allislawn.com or www.simplicitymfg.com.

you can definatly still get parts, and i think it's a 70's tractor.
