can anyone tell me if some of the L or LA jd`s come with silver rims. If so whitch ones. I hear some of the 420`s come that way too!

I have only been around the "LA" and have never seen the la with silver rims the only "silver" on the front wheel assembly is the hubcaps..

I'm not aware of any L's having silver rims. However, have seen LA pictures and tractors that had silver rims with the JD yellow cast iron centers.

The only sliver rims I know of on JD tractors from the factory were the power adjust spin outs. These were painted sliver to highlight the fact they were on a machine (fairly costly option, so you have to make sure the neighbors know about it). I can't recall ever seeing an 'L' or 'LA' with sliver rims. But, I am not awfully knowedgeable about the 'L'. I'm into the M, 40, 420, 430, and 440 machines.
