As the need for a trucks will always be. I could see HD pickups getting phased out in favor of a truck like this if trends continue.
Getting back to the Idea of a Truck is a Truck instead of a passenger comfort cargo carrier.

This Sterling cab is about as comfortable as I would need it.

Just my Opinion.

Plus these pictures are funner to look at then talking CDL/DOT 24/7 on this board.
I think if more people used a class 5 or 6 truck to pull with they would never go back to pickups. Especially if they needed a truck for farm or ranchwork. 4X4 are available.

If they do start to really enforce DOT & CDL regs on dually's.. I can see a move to the bigger trucks. Heck, if you gotta get all the forms for a dually, why not just move up & get a real truck..

If you can live with a barebones cab... Big trucks are as cheap as dually's..
