An overflow pan for a washing machine would fit the bill, I'm not sure the cost but they used to be available at lowes etc.. in the appliance section HTH Dan

I use the feed tubs from the protein supplement for the cows. They are free because you cannot return them for credit. All you need to do is cut them down to a shallow pan with a skil saw. Instant 24 inch round pan. Use them for everything from drip pans to place to store oil cans or whatever I don't want oil or grease all over.

I cut the tops from old plastic gas cans that are missing the caps. They make great drip pans and last a long time. Portable outboard gas tanks work well also.

AutoZone has a nice one. I think that I paid $6.99 for the last one I bought. They also have a thin carpet/mat about that size that will soak up the spilled oil. Both are highly recommended.

I've used old flat baking pans, the kind that might get used for cookies. I put a little oil dry, or kitty litter in the pan to soak up the drippings.

Someplace like a Dollar Store ought to have them cheap, or buy your wife new ones and maybe she'll give you the old ones.

Check local bakery..from time to time their big sheet pans get warped or just too stained up to clean.I've scrounged 3-4 in past.Very heavy stainless, about 2'x3'x1"D.
