I have a 10" Craftsman Radial Arm saw that sits on a Cabinet base and I'm looking for a couple of casters that are adjustable. The Base Cabinet is a Craftsman Part No 9-22205 and the casters are 9-22208 I think. I've tried Sears on line and they don't recognie the part numbers. The casters I'm looking for adjust with an Acme screw and bolt to the corners of the cabinet. Does anybody have any idea where to find them? I've been all over ebay and I've tried caster manufacturers to no avail. Thanks in advance.

Grizzly sells a good mobil base. Kinda pricey. I got one simaler at Menards for half the $$. Not as heavy duty though.

Looks like a good alternative if I can't find the special adjustable casters. Thank for the put.

Mine has fixed casters and a foot lever that lowers feet that hold the saw off of the casters. The casters could be replaced by about anything. Its about 1987 vintage with the large drawer cabinet.

The old craftsman table saws were made by Emerson Electric ( Ridgid)

Most of the ones at HF are just casters. These had a mounting bracket and an acme screw that raised the saw on to the wheels so that you could mve it.

My brother put casters on a Craftsman Table saw. He bought them from Home Depot. They were actually made for their Rigid units. He said it was an exact fit. You might have some luck for your Radial Arm Saw, it's worth a look.

I am trying to remember about mine. Mine had mechanism that would push the caters down for moving the saw and then let the saw down for firm sitting on the floor. The caster wheels started breaking up. I think that I cut out the pin serving as an axle and replaced just the wheel with wheel removed from other casters I had bought. Would that work for you?

Yours sound like the type I'm looking for. You screw the screw down whick caused the cabinet to raise up to be moved. Then you unscrew them and the cabinet sits firmly on the floor. I made up a design using angle iron and bolts etc but if I can find a pair it would be easier than making them.
