Century 125GL mig welder

Also I weld without gas. Now I would like to use gas. I need to know what parts I need to gas weld. I have now parts to weld with gas.

If you meant to say it tripped the breakers while welding, that's a different story. I don't have info on the Century welders in regard to input of amperage, but a 15 amp circuit sounds light for a 125 amp machine to me. I've sold a truckload of Miller 130 amp welders which Miller says will operate on a 20 amp circuit. Every 20 amp circuit I've plugged it into tripped when running anywhere near the high end on amps. I've seen them work fine on a 30 amp circuit. Steve

If it's in the control board, the major component is the SCR, a 2$ replacement at radio shack, much better than a $150 board! Fixed 2 of them this way, they are damaged by power surges!

Ussual blow your fingers off, not my fault disclaimer; You expose yourself to death, disability, causing more damage to your equipment, scorn of your spouse if you let the smoke out, etc, etc, etc, anytime you are working with electricity. Seriously, welders are capable of serious current & can cause great damage to you & yes, even death. Be careful!
