Have been looking around the net for some time for anyone(collectors/shops)that are"into" Power Products engines. These used to be common in many application, such as mowers, boat motors, saws,go carts, other small engine apps.So far I have found no one or any great amount of info on these engines.I am specifically looking for info on the AH-80 series and a crankcase for one in good shape.Any info appreciated.I know the company was merged w/Lauson in the 60s.

Power Products engines were produced in grafton,WI in the 40's started in a single car garage(which of coarse grew) backed by four partners...They specialized
in 2-cycle engines...They had a great little engine that came in 1 or 2 cylinder flavor with many applications...they were gobbled up by tecumseh around 1952 to 55 ..Lauson was also from Wisconsin and met the same fate along with peerless transmissions from mich..I'm also looking for 2 cylinder engines from power products...thanks Roy

I'm looking for a Manual for a one-cylinder Outboard Motor made by "Lauson Power Products" Grafton, Wis.(Acording to the carburetor pump cover). I extracted the following info:
Plate bolted to the Crankcase "T-626-63 3573889"
Cylinder bottom edge, cast "1010-49"
Crankcase, adjac.to Cyl., cast "1021-41"
Magneto, inscribed "Made by Phelon Co. for Power Products Corp. Model F-5061"
Inside breaker-point compartment " 4 Repco Model 2120"
Breaker-point cover "Repco (inside a standing-up diamond insignia)" "Gauge .020"
Top impellor housing "Pat.No. D191480"
(This is a jet-like drive, a vertical impellor sucking from the bottom and discharging to the rear, if motor is in ahead position)

On front of fiberglas cover (no idea whether latter is original equipment. Doubtful!) scribbled "211-738- 885"
Would also appreciate any help, identifying "Make, Model & Year"!

I am currently working on a power products engine
with T-626-68 I.D. tag number which is installed on an old jet drive of unknown make. As far as I can determine this engine is of 1960,1961 vintage. Your outboard may have been manufactured by Eska outboard.Their phone is 1-800-356-0777.
You may want to call them for further info. Hope this helps. Regards, Larry Solski

Power Products either is what Tecumseh was then or were bought out by Tec. Most engines were made unchanged for years. A Tecumseh dealer has many parts. You can try www.arboristsite.com for chainsaw guys who might knwo where you get used parts.

You might want to check with a Tecumsah ( spelling ?) dealer/parts supplier. I think they merged with or bought out Lawson.
