Need Wisconsin TJD and AGND information

I have these on 2 Yazoo mowers and though they run well they are using quite a bit of oil and have what sounds like a faint knock so I guess I'll rebuild them.

A few questions for you. Do these have replaceable rod bearing inserts? Replaceable valve guides? Are there aftermarket parts available or do I have to buy expensive Wisconsin parts? Any source for discounted Wisconsin parts?

Any other wisdom concerning rebuilding them?

Thanks, Al.

Aloha, I have bought parts for my engines from the link posted below. The prices are good and would deal with them again (not associated with them).

I can second that recommendation, but they are not cheap. You can get aftermarket rings, pistons, etc. but most parts are only available as Wisconsion =$$$. Both of those do have replaceable rod inserts. These are heavy-duty motors like Kohler or Onan & parts cost accordingly.

I was trying to rebuild an early wisc 2 cylinder that had babbitt rod bearings. The rods were blown. Did the early two cylinders only use babbitt bearings for the rod? Or is there a replacement rod with bearing inserts available?
