john deere e question

im very new at this hit miss stuff i have a john deere e 1 1/2 hs engine. stupid question but im serious were do u put the fuel i see nothing that resembles a fuel tank. and i see there are 2 places to put oil on htis where the exact place and how much do i put in help please thanks

The fuel goes in a tank which is located under the engine that is accessible by removing the cap [which screws out] at the very rear of the engine, or just behind and below the crankcase. Just the left of that one [on the mag side between the flywheel and crankcase] there is similar cap which is where the oil goes. How much oil do you put in it? Fill it till it is at the top of the hole. Check often as John Deere engines have a tendency to leak quite a bit, usually out the mains.

There AREN'T two places to put oil in it. One of those places is where you put the gas in. Sounds like you need to buy an owner's manual BIG TIME.
