Continental Engine help needed

Gentlemen, I have recently acquired a Continental power unit (on what looks to be a factory cart) which was used by a local railroad. The motor is outfitted with a welder as the primary power tool. It is on a two wheel cart and everything looks about as factory as can be. Don't worry, you can be brutally honest here as I didn't pay anything for it. Yes, the motor is stuck as I knew it had sat out for over a year, who knows how long before I came to town. It is a 4 cyl. flat head with hand governor control/throttle lever. I don't have any pictures at this time but plan to. Have yet to take any casting numbers off of it, but plan to as well. Maybe when I get all my ducks in order, that may be the best time to get back on here. However, is there a good parts supplier for Continental engine parts or am I "S.O.L." so to speak? If so, who and where can I locate them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just went through a Continental project this last year that was a 1940's CE-66 pumping engine from oil service. Arrow Supply in Tulsa, OK has many Continental parts and leads for what they do not have. Good luck

E-mail me and let me know where you live . Is there a tag on the engine ?.If not do you have it apart give me a bore zize or the forging # off the crank. Parts are available through several sources. Earl in Illinois
