I have a Massey Harris engine. Ser# 4K2870.Made in Toronto, Canada. The tag says its a 4.5 does that mean its 4 and a half HP or 4 to 5 HP? What year engine would this be? I may post it later, whats it worth? It runs fine and is on org. wooden skids. Thanks

On a Massey-Harris type 2 the 4.5 refers
to a 4-1/2 horsepower engine. Yours was
built around 1931. As a matter of fact your
Massey-Harris has the highest serial number
for a 4-1/2hp that I have seen until now.
