1954 chain saw

I have a 1954? McCollough 2 man chain saw.It was purchased by my uncle new. It has been kept inside so its condition is pretty good for its age. It will not start proderly because it needs carb. work. Does this saw have much value and if so how much?

Hey Ive got a funny story for yah about a Mcollough 2 man saw engine that My Grandfather and Father put on a go kart. Well to make a long story short dont attempt to oporate a kart with this much tourque It will kill you or worse any body that happens to get in the way. I wish I new what these saws are worth Ibelieve ther is quite a few out there still My father got It from some guys that worked for potlach I lewiston Id about 28 years ago I tried to Jb weld that rascal of a gas oil tank but It still leakes Well If ya find out anything give me a holler.

I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE THINGS AT AN AUCTION IT LOOKS LIKE THE MOTOR IS ABLE TO RUN
