I am new to this hobbie and I just bought a Sattley 2hp with solid flywheels, not spokes.

I would like some info as to where to get some parts and where to locate a repair/service manual, books and some general info on this engine.

I would like to replace the cracked head rather than to repair it.

TIA
Steve in NJ

Steve,

If you don't find a replacement head,
you should consider repair done with oxy/acet
and cast iron in stick form. Most cast iron
items are repairable if you stay away from
any form of arc welding. Below is a link to many images of cast repair.
Take the tour.
