Has anyone ever seen sombody turn a 72 twin into a single upright? Is there any info on this at all? I guess what I'm mainly looking for is a couple reference photos and what to use for a flywheel. Thanks, Jess

One thing for sure is to use the orginal flywheel for the ignition.

Yes I have seen one of those, the best I can remember one cylinder and piston and rod is removed and a plate made to bolt over the open crankcase. The second cylinder is rotated to point up.Now I have drawn a blank??? I might try looking at my Maytag tommorow and see if it rings a bell. I have thought about that conversion but havent tried it so far...

Well I was thinking about running it on a mini low tension coil and using a valve wheel for the flywheel. It would require a little machine work to the crank and I would have to balance the valve wheel but I think it would work. As far as the crank case goes My thoughts were to cover one crank end with a plate like somebody said earlier. Well Thats my thoughts anyways. Jess
