8n 3 pt problems

Hello, i 've got a problem that just occured on my '52 8n,,the 3 pt. will not lift but a inch or two now,(nothing attached) . i removed the side cover , and looked inside,pretty much looks ok(as far as i can tell)added some hyd. fluid, and still nothing,,if i manually lift the arms up ,and then move the lever to lift it'll hold the arms up,a little soft hold though,,i can lower it from there, no problem,if i just move the lever, i can hear something "hydraulic" going on inside, but no movement. PTO works and fliud is moving around inside, and i see a bit of fluid coming out of the side chamber when operating,,,valve stuck?
