I have a 1948 Avery Mod V with a Hercules engine mod # ZXB3. I need a set of valves exhaust and intake if possible but could get by with exhaust. Would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks, Jerry Landrum

Hello Jerry ... I submitted a history article on some of the Avery tractors. Kim has it posted in the articles section in the left-hand margin here. Look in that article (it's one of the new ones listed) and the website for the Avery Collectors Club is listed there. Kim just made an address change this week. Some stuff in there on your model Avery too, not much but a little. And the history of the company itself is interesting.

If you don't locate these there is a machinst here that has the specs and can make them for $ 6.00 each. Try the B.F. Avery Collectors and Associates, R # 1 Box 68 1373 E-100, Paxton, IL 60957, or Tru-Draft Registry, 109 W Center, Farmersville, OH 45325, for information

The addresses relevant to B. F. Avery do not list a phone number. The business that can machine the valves for you is Loop 70 Auto Parts, Columbia, MO. Phone # 573-449-0893, ask for Elson. They do excellent work.
