I"m restoring this unit to working order for my Dad - Can anyone help with information on this unit? Agco isn"t any help. Eckroth Bros. in Orefield, PA (the local New Idea dealer) got me a parts list, but weren"t able to find anything else. Is there a service/repair manual for this unit? The pictures are of the inside of the bottom of the unit, the rest of the unit seems repairable with a little work, although after removing the hubcap and wheel hub, there was/IS a VERY rusty gear attached to the end of the shaft, a square nut on the end seems to go into the augur to power the unit when it"s being pulled. The panels as you can see are very rusted and I don"t want to cut the hole in the wrong place when I repair it. Does the FS-107 Operators Manual for this unit have any helpful information about this? Does anyone have a PDF of the manual they"d be willing to send me? Any ideas on how I can proceed without cutting the hole(s) in the wrong area(s)? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated! I can repair, replace, bend, sandblast, clean, etc...the rest of the unit, but this part has me a little unsure has how to further proceed. Thanks and Semper Fi gentlemen!... - Pete in Slatington, PA

Hi Neighbor. I am down here in Egypt. Ebay has a manual for sale Link hope that works. That seems like a lot of work to spread fertilizer. I use a spin spreader 3pt type. Less maintenance.

Thank You Neighbor! I bought the manual from E-Bay, just got it in the mail today. Guessing from what I've found (or rather NOT been able to find) the FS-107 Operators Manual is the only one available. With my welding/fabrication knowledge, my friends mechanical/farming knowledge - we'll be able to fix this. I know there's an easier way, buy this is a favor for my Dad, and he's helped me out a lot! Thanks again - if you need anything welded/fabricated, etc...please feel free to contact me anytime! - Pete in Slatington

I have a working 101E spreader. I can send you pictures or take measurements if you need them.
