i have a drott bulldozer that i am trying to get running. the problem im having is that i cant get the injection pump to pressurize enough to open the injectors. i recently went through the pump but it still does the same thing. the motor on the dozer is good i just cant get it to start. the model of the dozer is 150k3 and is a drott, the engine is an international harvester as so is the pump. i really need to get this thing running so any input from you guys out there would be greatly appreciated. also the pump is a rotary style and i think the dozer was built between 1961-1964. thanks jeff

Jeff,

IH quit supplying parts and sevvice for the RD pump many years ago,at the time they made available a conversion kit to mount a Roosa- Master in place of the RD pump . If that is a 150 IH loader ,the engine is a D282 and is also used in the 560 & 706 (some) farm tractor. Engine may turn slightly higher rpm in the crawler. There is one pump shop that I know of that is collecting all the Rd pumps he can find and stripping them for good parts along with making bushings etc . He is near Lancaster , Pa and trades as Conestoga Diesel .I used to see him at the Rough and tumble steam show at kinzers, pa.

When you say International rotary pump are you talking the IH model RD pump?
