The Wico Mags came from the factory on Deeres using the top distributor cap tower for the left cylinders plug wire and the bottom cap tower for the right cylinders plug wire. However the direct drive (non reduction gear) mags like the C and X models could work if the wires were reversed if the mag happened to be installed 180 degrees out of standard timing.

On the Wico C models theres an additional lil short high tension wire from the top/coil down to the caps distributor portion.

Some Wico X models were equipped with a lil wiring stud/terminal on the side which functioned as a Kill Switch. Some had a lil push button on then that kiled the spark if depressed so the terminal got grounded out while others ran a wire from that terminal up to the dash to kill the spark when a wire to that terminal got switched/attached to frame ground.

And if it is a tractor, is it a John Deere, (likely), or a Farmall, Allis-Chalmers, or ?
